Our suppliers and contractors also meet the high expectations for safety at Simply Fresh Fruit. All incoming products are inspected for defects and contamination, and any product that does not meet the required standards is rejected immediately. Our equipment is kept clean and is inspected on a schedule to ensure that everything is according to approved codes and legislation.

Food Safety is the primary objective at Simply Fresh Fruit, with clean manufacturing areas and labs to inspect, clean and approve the fruit that comes through the facility. Each lot of fruit is carefully checked before being approved to enter the processing areas. In addition to multiple washing processes, the fruit will reassessed before being hand-cut by our highly-trained fruit cutters, guaranteeing a 100% usable product every time.
HACCP Plan & Inspection Plan
Simply Fresh Fruit has done a hazard analysis to evaluate all steps of the process from receiving of raw material to the shipping of the finished product. This evaluation incorporates all steps in the process to identify potential biological, chemical, physical and radiological hazards and to assess their significance (severity and likelihood of occurrence) and ensure that hazards identified as severe and reasonably likely to occur are addressed as Critical / Preventive Control points in the HACCP/PCP plan. We ensure that all critical / preventive control points identified in our 45,000 square feet of
refrigerated space are managed properly at all times.
Trained technicians monitor all products from when they arrive at our facility, through all preparation processes, until they are shipped. They also ensure that Sanitizer is always kept at optimal and safe levels, water is tested for contaminates that may harm our products, and the products are at the optimal temperatures. Continually monitoring our HACCP systems ensures that Simply Fresh Fruit products are always safe and delicious.
